SGX Nifty is a registered derivatives product and variant of the Indian Nifty 50, listed on Singapore Stock Exchange. This is the index futures contract that tracks the future performance of National Stock Exchange (Nifty 50) shares and allow foreign investors & traders to trade in Nifty Futures.
There two contracts & trading time in SGX.
1st Sessions (T) SGX QUEST: Monday to Friday (9:00 am – 6:15 pm in Singapore) as 6:30 am – 3:45 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) Same Day Settlement.
2nd Sessions (T+1) SGX QUEST: Monday to Friday (7:15 pm – 1:00 am in Singapore) as 4:45 pm – 10:30 pm Indian Time (IST) Next Day Settlement.
The SGX Nifty 50 futures contract is based on the NSE Nifty 50. The NSE (Nifty 50) is a benchmark stock market index in India, and it's equally weighted, while the SGX Nifty is a futures contract that is traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The SGX Nifty is traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange and open for 16 hours a day, while the NSE Nifty opens only 6:30 hours a day.
